“Connection Point High” Set For Another Round

Following the tremendous success that JEM and Tzivos Hashem saw with the Connection Point program in elementary schools since 2018, the program was expanded this year to include high school students. Now, responding to the warm feedback and an eagerly received first semester (See the testimonials at the end of this article.), Connection Point has announced that a second program will soon begin.

What makes this round especially unique is the content that will be featured. Girls will be watching a special Sicha that the Rebbe specifically addressed to women and young girls on Erev Shavuos 5747 – 1987, during the annual convention for N’shei U’benos Chabad.

The talk has been divided into three segments. After watching and being quizzed on all three parts, a grand viewing will be held, followed by a comprehension contest. The students entering the competition will be required to write an essay about the lessons they learned from the Rebbe’s talk.

Due to the limitations that currently exist around schools and large gatherings, the full program will be available digitally. Each participating school will present Connection Point on their own online learning platforms, and winners’ prizes will be shipped directly to their houses.

Connection Point High is made possible through a generous grant from Yossi & Nechama Dina Katz and Family in the merit of a speedy recovery of זאב יחזקאל הכהן בן מינדל and for all those suffering with CV בתוך שאר כל חולי עמך ישראל!

“Great choice of Sicha, and the girls really enjoyed the last clip in the finale where the Rebbe asks a specific person to sing. Those more personal moments are so very nice for them to see. Students were extremely surprised and satisfied to see how much they understood.”
Mrs. Deren, Pittsburgh High School

“Love learning all these sichos”
– Student in Rohr Bais Chaya Academy, Tamarac, FL

“The girls had a class a few days later where the teacher put on the Sicha they watched at Connection Point. The girls immediately piped up saying they watched this already and they know it ‘by-heart!’”
– Miss Kaplan, Detroit High School

“Girls told me they were excited to watch and understand a video of the Rebbe for the first time!”
– Mrs. Kleinman, Miami High School

“The girls really took to the program. Some girls who were absent for one of the viewings asked if I can show it again just for them. They actually came on their own time during lunch break.”
