The Rebbe’s unique farbrengens marking the 150th anniversary of the passing of the Alter Rebbe

At 10:30pm on the eve of 24 Teves 5573 (1812), the Alter Rebbe, founder of the Chabad movement, passed away, in a small town in Eastern Europe.
At that exact moment one hundred and fifty years later, in Brooklyn, New York, his successor the Rebbe, held a unique farbrengen.
Rabbi Leibel Shapiro recalls that special commemoration.
