Baruch Nachshon, of blessed memory, was a famed artist from Hebron, Israel. In 1964, as an aspiring artist who had recently returned to his Jewish roots, Nachshon visited the Rebbe, who commissioned him with the task of reviving an ancient art form.
Some fifteen years later, in 1979, he brought along some of his art during a visit to the Rebbe. The Rebbe encouraged Nachshon to set up an exhibition—and even came to see it for himself.
