Kfar Chabad Magazine recently featured a My Encounter interview with Mr. Menachem (Nachik) Navot, 88, who recently passed away. Mr. Navot was an Israeli Mossad operative who served as the Mossad’s representative to America in 1975.

Interviewed shortly before he passed away, Mr. Navot recounted to JEM’s Rabbi Zushe Wolf that one of his most memorable and powerful experiences during his stay in America was when he and his family spent Simchas Torah with the Rebbe. At the Rebbe’s hakafos, which they witnessed, the Rebbe called him and his sons up to stand near him, and blessed them.
